THE BEAUTY OF NIAGARA FALLS

My Final Post of our Anniversary Trip
The Beauty of Niagara Falls
"Maid of the Mist"
This is the pic that they took of us on the way in. This was an exciting ride, it felt like being in a hurricane riding on choppy waters. We all squished in looking like "The Blue Man Group" with our bright blue ponchos! You can see one of the voyages with all the blue people an earlier post. You will get very close to the falls and very very wet! I actually put my poncho hood right over my face and looked through it when we were close because the water was spraying in my face and eyes so I couldn't see very well. I still think that every one should try this (once) to experience it but for me, I enjoy viewing them from the railings

Some Site-Seeing Photos from our trip to Niagara Falls

Hello Everyone
My Niagara Falls Trip cont.
I have some photos to show you of some of the attractions and places we visited:
Journey Behind The Falls
An informative and beautiful walk
Be warned: keep the rain poncho on you will get wet and don't wear your best shoes. Mine got wet.

The Butterfly Conservatory

The butterflies hitched a ride on my husband until we were ready to leave and an attendant gently removed them from his shirt

Definitely worth a visit! It's quite warm inside so dress accordingly
There are benches to sit and observe if you wish. We didn't want to leave :)

Another Day Vacationing at Niagara Falls

Something to do on a Rainy Day

We took advantage of our free "WEGO" bus pass and picked up the bus across the street from our hotel and went to the
Louis Tussaud's Waxworks, one of the "Ripley's Attractions"

. I didn't think I would enjoy this as much as I did. The museum had 2 floors of wax figures of celebs posed so you can stand with them and have fun taking photos. The figures are the actual size of the people they represent. You will really be surprised by some of them! My husband Bruce made this so much more fun for me because he was so goofy posing and made laugh. These are just some of the photos I took. I hope some them made you smile. This museum is in the "family area" of attractions. I'm sorry but I can't remember what it is called but it's fun to walk around and shop. Here are some shots I took of the area:

I loved the Dinosaur mini-golf. we didn't play but it is impressive. Everything is "larger than life"
