I have a new hat for sale in my Etsy shop
This is the one that I was working on, on the way home from New Hampshire. I finally have my head model and one of the wigs. I think it makes a big difference compared with the Styrofoam ones that I have been using. I just started working on another one with the same yarn. I wasn't that happy with the looks of the yarn in the skein, but when it is knitted up, I love it. It's so soft. The yarn is Moda Dea
"Cartwheel" in the color Coral, just in case anyone would like to make their own hat in this yarn. It's a bulky yarn that is "thick and thin", kind of rustic and warm.

Coupon sale over, new sales to come

Hi, Just wanted to let you know that the "welcomefall" 10% off coupon sale is now over, but I will be having another sale very soon. I will post the new sale as soon as it starts.
On another subject, I hope everyone here on the east coast of the US has made it through hurricane Irene without too much damage. It was pretty bad in my area. My husband works for the power Co. so I didn't see him for days. We lost power for 3 days which was difficult but we are very lucky that no one was injured and no property damage aside from a bunch of fallen tree limbs.                                                 I haven't been doing very much knitting lately, I think I caught the fall cleaning bug. :) My daughter and I re-arranged and scrubbed my kitchen from top to bottom. It's looks so much better and now I can find everything I need. I keep thinking of more organizing ideas for other rooms in my house. I don't know what has gotten into me, but I'm going to keep going while I still feel like this.                             I am working on a pair of wool mittens in a woman's size. They are turquoise and I'll probably put them up for sale when they are finished, unless someone claims them first. Hope every one has a great day. :)
